Birthday Trip to Aruba

My sister and I got a special birthday treat from our parents: a trip to Aruba! It was exactly what we needed. We've traveled together before, going to places like Las Vegas, Niagara Falls, and even some spots in the U.S. like Texas and South Carolina. But this time, it was our first international birthday trip, and it was amazing.
We were just the two of us, with our parents along for the ride. They know how to party. Even though I tried to ask my sister what to pack, I was rushed off the phone without an answer. But somehow, we still managed to pack similar outfits. We love twinning, and it never gets old. Sometimes, when my sister finds a cute outfit, she'll get one for me too. Yeah, my sister is better than yours. Lol
The food in Aruba was fantastic, with plenty of options for us. We went for the breakfast package at our hotel and even found gluten-free and vegan options on the island. There was a variety of foods available, plus daily happy hour. We also explored a nearby shopping area with lots of restaurants to try.
Having a rental car gave us the freedom to go on our own sightseeing adventure. We used an app called maps.me and made a list of destinations from a popular sightseeing website. We even added our own spots when we stumbled upon a beautiful beach. We checked out the lighthouse, an aloe factory, a popular church, and a natural bridge. And for those who enjoy gambling, Aruba has casinos. The ones in the hotel resorts were kind of stingy, but we found a bigger standalone casino near a resort that was more generous. It would have been nice to have discovered that spot sooner and we would have had better chances. We booked a sunset sail and it was just what we needed. It was relaxing, fun and very memorable. There were drinks, food, music and shenanigans.
Overall, our birthday getaway was just what we needed. If you're thinking about visiting Aruba, I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed!
